(Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 2/18/13 through 2/23/2013)
Kansas Weighted Average Report for the two feeder cattle auctions (Dodge City
and Pratt) totaled 2,669 head including 2,626 head of feeder cattle and
calves. Weighted average based on 2,382 head or about 91 percent of the total
feeders. Approximately 96 percent of the feeders 600 lbs and over. Feeder supply
81 percent steers and 19 percent heifers.
