Compared to Monday's sale steer calves sold firm with good demand.
Heifer calves sold steady to 2.00 higher with good demand. Yearling
steers sold steady in a limited comparison. Yearling heifers sold
3.00 higher in a limited comparison. Slaughter cows sold 1.00 lower
with moderate demand. Slaughter bulls sold steady with moderate demand.
Total supply included 09% slaughter cows, less than 1% slaughter
bulls, less than 1% replacements and 89% feeders. Feeder supply
52% steers, 20% bulls, 28% heifers with 58% of feeders weighing over
600 lbs.
