Feeder Cattle Auction Narrative Report for Mon 01/28/2013
Estimated Receipts: 6750 Last Monday: 9445 Year Ago Monday: 7073
Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers not well tested
in opening rounds, few sales firm. Steer and heifer calves opening
steady to 4.00 higher, full advance on those under 500 lbs. Demand
very good for all classes. Cattle futures sharply higher this morning
renewing optimism in the markets.

215.00; 450-500 lbs 181.00-196.00; 500-535 lbs 180.00-183.50; 550-
600 lbs 166.50-170.50; 635 lbs 153.00; Yearlings: 600 lbs thin fleshed
165.00; 625-700 lbs 149.50-160.00; few 700-750 lbs 146.25-150.00;
few 750-800 lbs 143.75-145.00; 800-850 lbs 137.00-144.75; lot 955 lbs

Feeder Heifers Medium and Large 1: Calves: few 325-350 lbs 185.00-
