Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 04/05/2012

Receipts:  3130    Last Week:  0    Year Ago:  3480

  No recent test of market for an accurate comparison a trend
will not be given for steers or heifers, but a sharply lower
under-tone should be noted, due to continued downward pressure
from the CME cattle board.  Demand was good with consignments of
NHTC and EID reputation offerings with some offerings showing
some flesh.  Warmer weather in the area these past weeks with
cold, sharp windy days earlier in the week.  Receipts consisted
of 51 percent steers, 49 percent heifers, with 80 percent of total
offerings weighting over 600 pounds. Next Feeder Auction: April 26th
