Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 03/14/2013

Receipts:  3055    Last Week:  1150    Year Ago:  3300

Compared with two weeks ago steers traded steady to 4.00 higher
with the exception of 550 lbs offerings 7.00 higher.  500 to 550
lb heifers traded 3.00-8.00 lower and 600 lbs offerings traded
6.00 higher.  Demand was good for both steers and heifers with
several buyers on hand.  Warmer weather in the area.  Receipts
consisted of 52 percent steers, 48 percent heifers, with 49
percent weighing over 600 pounds.
