Compared to last week, slaughter steers and heifers traded steady.
Slaughter Holstein steers sold 4.00 higher to last week's thin
test. Slaughter cows sold mixed with Breakers selling 2.00 lower
and Boners and Leans 3.00 to 8.00 higher. Slaughter bulls not
compared to last week's thin test. Trade was active and demand
good. Slaughter steers and heifers accounted for 74 percent of the
run; slaughter Holstein steers 7 percent; slaughter cows 16
percent; and slaughter bulls 3 percent.
