No trend noted due to lack of recent sales comparables. Liberal 
offering of attractive feeder cattle in town today for the first
sale of the new year.  Most of the feeder cattle were from consignors 
with larger consignments. Nearly all calves had complete shot programs
and were long time weaned. Demand continued strong throughout the 
sale. 65 percent of the run were steers, 35 percent heifers. 81 percent
over 600 lbs.
