Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers mostly 4.00-5.00 higher. Instances
5.00-10.00 higher on 400-600 lb heifers. Slaughter cows and bulls steady. Trade active,
demand good. Bulk supply Medium and Large 1-2 300-800 lb feeder steers and heifers.
Slaughter cows 9 percent of the offering, slaughter bulls 2 percent, bred cows 2 percent,
pairs 2 percent, feeders 85 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately
65 percent of the run; feeder bulls 1 percent; heifers 34 percent; feeder steers and
heifers over 600 lbs total 47 percent.
