Cattle Receipts: 254 Last week: 392 Last year: 727
According to the Federal-State Market News Service: Slaughter cows were
3.00 to 5.00 higher. Bulls were 4.00 to 5.00 higher. Feeder steers were
3.00 to 10.00 lower. Feeder heifers under 600 lbs were 3.00 to 7.00
lower, over 600 lbs were 5.00 to 6.00 higher. Feeder bulls were 5.00 to
9.00 lower.
Slaughter Cows 24, Bulls 5, Feeder Supply 180 hd: steers and bulls 100,
heifers 80, over 600 lbs 40, replacement and or feeder cows 45
The cows listed as others in this report are cow and calf pairs with the
calves being babies to 500 lbs. The cows were open to 6 months bred back.
The receipts were light due to snow and cold weather!
