Compared to one week earlier, slaughter cows and slaughter bulls
mostly steady, feeder steers and feeder heifers unevenly steady,
steer calves steady to 2.00 higher, heifer calves mostly steady,
replacement cows 8.00 to 10.00 higher.
Slaughter cows 12 percent, slaughter bulls 2 percent, feeder cattle
86 percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 40 percent
of the run, heifers 28 percent, replacement cows 32 percent. Steers and
heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 14 percent.
