Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 12/08/2012

Receipts:  2830    Last Week:  2318    Year Ago:  2570

  Compared with last week steers traded 4.00 to 6.00 higher
and a limited number of comparable offerings for heifers with
500 lb lots trading 2.00 higher.  Demand was good for all
offerings with several buyers in the seats today, with out of
state influences.  Receipts consisted of 63 percent steers,
37 percent heifers with 32 percent weighing over 600 pounds.
