Cattle Receipts: 513 Last week: 385 Last year: 826
Compared to last week: Slaughter cows were 2.00 lower. Slaughter bulls were
4.00 to 5.00 higher. Feeder steers and feeder heifers were mostly steady to
6.00 lower.
Supply included 264 feeder calves; 190 feeder yearlings; 24 replacement cows;
27 slaughter cows; 8 slaughter bulls; and 0 replacement bulls. Feeder supply
consisted of about 50 percent English breed and English crosses; 30 percent
Exotic breed and Exotic crosses; 30 percent Brahma and Brahma crosses; and 0
percent Holsteins and other dairy breeds. Feeder supply about 55 percent
steers and bulls with 45 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted average
price in parenthesis.
