Georgia Cattle Auctions Daily Summary
Georgia Livestock Auctions that were held Wednesday Feb 06, 2013

   Cattle auctions at Ashburn (1069), Athens (471), Donalsonville (300), 
Jackson (288), Moultrie (330), and Washington (356). Receipts Wednesday 
2,814 week ago 2,354 and year ago 3,131. Compared to one week earlier, 
slaughter cows and bulls steady to 2.00 higher, feeder steers and heifers
steady to 3.00 higher, steer calves and heifer calves mostly 2.00 to 4.00
higher, replacement cows steady to 2.00 higher.

Slaughter cows 14 percent, slaughter bulls 2 percent and feeders 84 
percent. In the feeder supply, steers made up approximately 51 percent 
of the run, heifers 38 percent and replacement cows 12 percent, steers 
and heifers over 600 lbs totaled around 19 percent.
