higher. Slaughter Holstein steers sold .50 higher. Market comparison not
available for slaughter cows, bulls, or feeder cattle as they were not
reported last week. Slaughter steers and heifers accounted for 24 percent
of the run; slaughter Holstein steers 18 percent; slaughter cows 18
percent; slaughter bulls 1 percent; bred cows/cow-calf pairs 1 percent;
and feeder cattle 38 percent. In the feeder cattle supply, steers 41
percent; Holstein steers 19 percent; heifers 19 percent; and bulls 21
percent. Feeder cattle over 600 lbs 51 percent.
