Compared to last week steer and heifers calves sold steady to firm
with good demand; light test of featherweight offerings. Yearling
steers and heifers untested. Slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 lower
with good demand. Slaughter bulls sold steady with good demand.
Total supply included 09% slaughter cows, 01% slaughter bulls,
less than 1% replacements and 89% feeders. Feeder supply 33% steers,
25% bulls and 42% heifers with 35% of feeders weighing over 600 lbs.
