Compared to last week: Slaughter cows were 1.00 lower. Slaughter bulls were
steady. Feeder steers and feeder heifers were 2.00 to 10.00 lower.
Supply included 309 feeder calves; 208 feeder yearlings; 30 replacement cows;
64 slaughter cows; 14 slaughter bulls; and 0 replacement bulls. Feeder supply
consisted of about 40 percent English breed and English crosses; 30 percent
Exotic breed and Exotic crosses; 30 percent Brahma and Brahma crosses; and 0
percent Holsteins and other dairy breeds. Feeder supply about 55 percent
steers and bulls with 45 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted average
price in parenthesis.
