Wholesale Bids. Truck or Rail dollars per ton.
Feedstuff prices were mixed for the week. Demand moderate to good. Soybean
meal saw support from the higher soy complex. Mill feeds were slightly higher
on tight supplies. Hominy feed saw some pressure from the lower corn.
SOYBEAN MEAL: 48 percent rail was 8.50 higher from 462.80-472.80 per ton.
48 percent truck was 1.50-5.50 higher from 458.80-467.80 per ton.
CORN BY-PRODUCTS: Corn Gluten Feed 21 percent, FOB Midwest barge was 2.00-
10.00 lower from 195.00-223.00 per ton; rail was steady from 190.00-220.00 per
ton; truck was steady to 10.00 lower from 200.00-230.00 per ton; weighted
average was 2.49 higher at 208.39 per ton. RESTRICTED- OVER 20 PPB AFLATOXIN
Corn Gluten Feed 21 percent, FOB Midwest barge not available per ton; rail was
steady to 5.00 higher from 150.00-160.00 per ton; truck was steady to 5.00 lower
from 150.00-170.00 per ton; weighted average was 29 cents lower at 157.78 per
ton; Total Combined Corn Gluten Feed Weighted Average was 2.08 lower at 198.64
per ton. Weighted average price based on the movement volume by transportation
method. Wet corn gluten feed 50-60 percent moisture was steady from 80.00-
118.00, mostly 95.00-118.00 per ton. 60 percent Corn Gluten Meal, FOB Midwest
barge was steady to 10.00 lower from 630.00-710.00 per ton; rail was steady from
630.00-730.00 per ton; truck was steady to 30.00 lower from 680.00-730.00 per
ton; weighted average was 3.41 lower at 681.75 per ton. RESTRICTED- OVER 20 PPB
AFLATOXIN Corn Gluten Meal 60 percent, FOB Midwest barge was not available per
ton; rail was from 400.00-525.00 per ton; truck was not available per ton;
weighted average was 12.50 lower at 462.50 per ton; Total Combined Corn Gluten
Meal Weighted Average was 5.43 lower at 632.97 per ton. Weighted average price
based on the movement volume by transportation method. Hominy Feed, Central
Illinois Point rail was 15.00 lower at 200.00 per ton; trucks were 15.00-30.00
lower from 210.00-235.00 per ton. Crude Corn Oil was steady from 51.00-52.00
cents per pound.
MILLFEEDS: Chicago was steady to 5.00 higher at 230.00 per ton; Buffalo was
steady to 10.00 higher from 200.00-210.00 per ton.
DISTILLER'S DRIED GRAINS: Eastern Corn-belt was 5.00 higher from 250.00-
270.00 per ton; Chicago area was steady to 5.00 lower at 255.00 per ton;
Lawrenceburg, IN was not available per ton; Nebraska was steady to 2.50 higher
from 270.00-302.00 per ton; Minnesota was steady to 10.00 higher from 245.00-
250.00 per ton; Kansas was steady to 5.00 higher from 280.00-295.00 per ton.
Iowa was steady to 5.00 higher from 250.00-278.00 per ton. Northern Missouri
was 5.00-13.00 higher from 260.00-268.00 per ton.
ALFALFA PELLETS: Toledo, Ohio 17 percent dehydrated were steady from 385.00-
390.00 per ton; meal was steady from 390.00-395.00 per ton, with 1/2 percent oil
from 391.00-396.00 per ton, and with 1 percent oil from 397.00-402.00 per ton.
