Daily National Grain Market Summary
Grain and soybean bids saw modest losses with wheat trading mixed ahead of
tomorrows USDA demand report. The grain markets were pressured by lower outside
markets and profit taking. Wheat was 10 cents lower to 6 cents higher. Corn
was 8-9 cents lower. Sorghum was 16-30 cents lower. Soybeans were 2-4 cents
lower.
Grains inspected for export for week ending April 05, 2012: Wheat totaled
17.6 million bushels, up 1.8 million bushels; corn 23.4 million bushels, dn 7.6
million bushels; sorghum 500 thousand bushels, dn 1.5 million bushels and
soybeans 26.4 million bushels, dn 3.1 million bushels compared to a week ago.
Year to Date: Wheat totaled 844.7 dn 182.0 million; corn 976.6 dn 69.6 million;
sorghum 39.5 million dn 51.5 million, and soybeans 1040.1 dn 283.3 million.
Crop marketing years begin June 1 for wheat and September 1 for corn, sorghum,
and soybeans.
