Feedstuff prices were mixed for the week. Demand moderate to good. In some
areas ingredients were higher as feed usage increased due to heavy snow. In
Nebraska some ethanol plants are back and running adding some pressure to DDGS.
SOYBEAN MEAL: 48 percent rail was 7.20-9.20 higher from 444.90-451.90 per
ton. 48 percent truck was 8.20-10.20 higher from 443.90-451.90 per ton.
CORN BY-PRODUCTS: Corn Gluten Feed 21 percent, FOB Midwest barge was steady
to 5.00 higher from 180.00-190.00 per ton; rail was steady from 190.00-233.00
per ton; truck was steady to 1.00 higher from 190.00-237.00 per ton; weighted
average was 25 cents higher at 211.28 per ton. RESTRICTED- OVER 20 PPB
AFLATOXIN Corn Gluten Feed 21 percent, FOB Midwest barge not available per ton;
rail was steady to 5.00 lower from 165.00-175.00 per ton; truck was steady to
5.00 lower from 165.00-190.00 per ton; weighted average was 2.50 lower at 173.43
per ton; Total Combined Corn Gluten Feed Weighted Average was 15 cents lower at
205.73 per ton. Weighted average price based on the movement volume by
transportation method. Wet corn gluten feed 50-60 percent moisture was steady
to 3.00 higher from 80.00-115.00, mostly 85.00-111.00 per ton. 60 percent Corn
Gluten Meal, FOB Midwest barge was 10.00 higher from 560.00-580.00 per ton; rail
was 15.00 lower to 10.00 higher from 560.00-620.00 per ton; truck was 1.00-10.00
higher from 610.00-646.00 per ton; weighted average was 2.34 higher at 593.11
per ton. RESTRICTED-OVER 20 PPB AFLATOXIN Corn Gluten Meal 60 percent, FOB
Midwest barge was not available per ton; rail was 12.50 lower from 410.00-500.00
per ton; truck was not available per ton; weighted average was 12.50 lower at
455.00 per ton; Total Combined Corn Gluten Meal weighted average was 98 cents
higher at 580.59 per ton. Weighted average price based on the movement volume
by transportation method. Hominy Feed, Central Illinois Point rail was 5.00
higher at 225.00 per ton; trucks were steady to 7.00 higher from 223.00-235.00
per ton. Crude Corn Oil was 100 points lower from 48.00-49.00 cents per pound.
MILLFEEDS: Chicago was steady to 10.00 lower from 220.00-235.00 per ton;
Buffalo was 10.00 lower from 205.00-210.00 per ton.
DISTILLER'S DRIED GRAINS: Eastern Corn-belt was steady from 262.00-280.00
per ton; Chicago area was steady to 5.00 higher from 265.00-275.00 per ton;
Lawrenceburg, IN was not available per ton; Nebraska was 10.00-11.00 lower from
255.00-279.00 per ton; Minnesota was steady from 250.00-258.00 per ton; Kansas
was 3.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 280.00-300.00 per ton. Iowa was steady from
258.00-270.00 per ton. Northern Missouri was steady to 3.00 higher from 275.00-
278.00 per ton.
ALFALFA PELLETS: Toledo, Ohio 17 percent dehydrated were steady from 385.00-
407.00 per ton; meal was steady from 390.00-412.00 per ton, with 1/2 percent oil
from 391.00-413.00 per ton, and with 1 percent oil from 397.00-419.00 per ton.
