California Hay Report

Compared to last week: All classes of hay traded mostly steady to weak due to 
varied quality and color as a result of abnormally high humidity. According to 
the US Drought monitor the entire state is classified as being in a moderate to 
severe drought with the outlook calling for the drought to persist or intensify 
in the coming months. Demand moderate on all classes of hay on moderate trade 
activity. All prices reported FOB at the stack or barn unless otherwise noted.
