Kansas City Weekly Feedstuff Review
Truck bids per ton unless otherwise stated.
Compared to last week, feedstuffs were mostly steady, with a few ingredients
trading higher. Gluten Meal saw gains due to increase demand; while Millfeeds
higher prices were caused by decreased supply in response to slower production.
Soybean meal, 48 percent was 3.90 higher at 407.20 per ton. Soybean
hulls were from unchanged from 140.00-160.00. Soybean Hull Pellets were
unchanged from 145.00-160.00 per ton. 41 percent Cottonseed Meal was unchanged
at 300.00 per ton. Corn Gluten feed pellets were unchanged from 175.00-190.00
per ton. Corn Gluten Meal 60 percent was steady to 55.00 higher from 600.00-
610.00 per ton. Kansas Interior millfeeds, Rail was 7.00-12.00 higher from
137.00-145.00 per ton; Trucks were 25.00-30.00 higher from 165.00-170.00 per
ton. Hominy Feed (FOB KC Northwest) rail was unchanged at 190.00 per ton; truck
was unchanged from 193.00-195.00 per ton. Meat and Bone Meal was 4.00-10.00
lower at 450.00 per ton. Feather Meal was at steady to 10.00 higher from
450.00-560.00 per ton. Yellow Grease was at 41.00 per cwt. Alfalfa Meal was
steady at 334.00 per ton; Sun-Cured 15 percent pellets were steady to 5.00 lower
307.00-317.00 per ton; Alfalfa Center pellets, 17 percent were steady at 300.00
per ton; Meal without oil was steady at 304.00 per ton; Hay prices were not
available.
