Kansas City Weekly Feedstuff Review
Truck bids per ton unless otherwise stated.
Feedstuff prices were mixed when compared to two weeks ago, Soybean meal was
lower on lower soybean prices with corn gluten meal lower on plentiful supplies
with good weather throughout most of the Midwest.
Soybean meal, 48 percent was 38.80-39.80 lower from 414.10-416.10 per ton.
Soybean hulls were unchanged to 7.00 lower from 210.00-220.00 per ton. Soybean
Hull Pellets were unchanged to 7.00 lower from 2107.00-225.00 per ton. 41
percent Cottonseed Meal was 5.00 lower from 365.00-380.00 per ton. Corn Gluten
feed pellets were unchanged to 5.00 lower from 240.00-265.00 per ton. Corn
Gluten Meal 60 percent was unchanged to 10.00 lower from 740.00-760.00 per ton.
Kansas Interior millfeeds, Rail was unchanged from 215.00-220.00 per ton; Trucks
were 5.00 lower from 245.00-250.00 per ton. Hominy Feed (FOB KC Northwest) rail
was 5.00 lower at 255.00 per ton; trucks were unchanged to 5.00 lower from
235.00-260.00 per ton. Meat and Bone meal was 16.00-18.00 higher from 313.00-
325.00 per ton. Feather Meal was unchanged from 650.00-660.00 per ton. Yellow
Grease was not quoted. Alfalfa Meal was steady from 365.00-380.00 per ton; Sun-
Cured 15 percent pellets were 5.00 higher to 10.00 lower at 335.00 per ton;
Alfalfa Center pellets, 17 percent were steady from 340.00-350.00 per ton; Meal
without oil was steady from 345.00-350.00 per ton; Hay prices were not
available.
