Kansas City Weekly Feedstuff Review
Truck bids per ton unless otherwise stated.
Compared to last week, feedstuff prices were mostly steady to higher as
soybean meal rose on higher soybean prices. Cottonseed meal was lower on slow
demand. Feather-Meal was steady to higher on seasonal demand.
Soybean meal, 48 percent was 6.70-9.70 higher from 425.60-431.60 per ton.
Soybean hulls were unchanged to 5.00 higher from 210.00-220.00 per ton. Soybean
Hull Pellets were unchanged to 5.00 higher from 210.00-225.00 per ton. 41
percent Cottonseed Meal was 5.00-10.00 lower from 355.00-365.00 per ton. Corn
Gluten feed pellets were unchanged from 250.00-265.00 per ton. Corn Gluten Meal
60 percent was unchanged at 700.00 per ton. Kansas Interior millfeeds, Rail was
5.00 higher from 190.00-200.00 per ton; Trucks were 5.00 higher from 235.00-
245.00 per ton. Hominy Feed (FOB KC Northwest) rail was 5 higher at 245.00 per
ton; trucks were unchanged to 5.00 higher from 235.00-250.00 per ton. Meat and
Bone meal was 10.00 higher at 330.00 per ton. Feather Meal was unchanged to
25.00 higher from 690.00-700.00 per ton. Yellow Grease was 300 points lower at
36.50 cwt. Alfalfa Meal was steady from 365.00-380.00 per ton; Sun-Cured 15
percent pellets were steady to 5.00 lower from 330.00-335.00 per ton; Alfalfa
Center pellets, 17 percent were steady from 340.00-350.00 per ton; Meal without
oil was steady from 345.00-350.00 per ton; Hay prices were not available.
