Kansas City Weekly Feedstuff Review

Feedstuff prices were mixed for the week. Demand moderate to good as parts
of the Midwest and Plains were hammered with heavy snow the past two weeks
increasing feed demand usage. Meat and bone meal saw gains as slaughter numbers
are down.
Soybean meal, 48 percent was 5.20-7.20 higher from 433.90-442.90 per ton.
Soybean hulls were steady to 10.00 lower from 200.00-220.00 per ton. Soybean
Hull Pellets were steady to 10.00 lower from 200.00-225.00 per ton. 41 percent
Cottonseed Meal was 10.00 higher from 315.00-330.00 per ton. Corn Gluten feed
pellets were steady from 250.00-270.00 per ton. Corn Gluten Meal 60 percent was
steady to 10.00 lower from 680.00-690.00 per ton. Kansas Interior millfeeds,
rail was steady to 5.00 lower from 185.00-195.00 per ton; Trucks were 10.00-
15.00 lower from 225.00-235.00 per ton. Hominy Feed (FOB KC Northwest) rail was
steady at 240.00 per ton; trucks were steady from 225.00-245.00 per ton. Meat
and Bone meal was 38.00 higher at 453.00 per ton. Feather Meal was steady from
720.00-740.00 per ton. Yellow Grease was 250 points higher at 37.50 per cwt.
Alfalfa Meal was steady from 350.00-380.00 per ton; Sun-Cured 15 percent pellets
were steady from 330.00-335.00 per ton; Alfalfa Center pellets, 17 percent were
steady from 325.00-350.00 per ton; Meal without oil was steady from 336.00-
350.00 per ton; Hay prices were not available.
