Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, April 10, 2012
**All prices are quoted per ton, unless otherwise noted.**

   Feed ingredient prices were mostly higher.  Demand was moderate at best with 
the emergence of green pastures.

Oilseeds: 
  The May Soybean Meal futures closed 3.10 higher at 389.80; July closed 3.30 
higher at 391.40. The May Soybean Oil futures closed 107 points higher at 56.97 
cents per pound; July closed 106 points higher at 57.35 cents per pound. The 
high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 3.10 to 5.10 higher at 361.10; the 
basis was steady to 2.00 higher at 28.00 under the May futures. Linseed Meal, 34 
pct protein was 10.00 higher at 255.00 in North Dakota-Minnesota areas. 
Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 5.00 higher from 205.00-220.00 
in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 107 points 
higher from 55.72-56.46 cents per pound; the basis was steady from 50-125 points 
under the May futures.
 
Animal Protein:
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 25.00 lower to 25.00 higher from 
400.00-425.00 for ruminant; Pork ranged 500.00-520.00. Yellow Grease was steady 
to 50 points higher from 43.00-44.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 50 
to 100 points lower from 47.50-48.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 15.00 to 
35.00 higher from 460.00-475.00.

Millfeeds:   
   Wheat Middlings were 8.00 to 10.00 higher from 130.00-138.00.  The Sacked 
Bran was steady at 12.75 cwt.
