Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, February 05, 2013

Feed ingredient prices were mixed this past week. Trades were limited.
Wheat Midds were higher as several mills had decreased run times.
The March Soybean Meal futures closed 14.80 higher at 436.50; May closed 15.50
higher at 435.30. The March Soybean Oil futures closed 127 points higher at
52.98 cents per pound; May closed 128 points higher at 53.39 cents per pound.
The high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 14.80 higher from 433.50-444.50;
the basis was steady from 5.00 under to 6.00 over the March futures. Linseed
Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 295.00-315.00 in North Dakota-Minnesota
areas. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower at
240.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 127
points higher from 50.73-51.23 cents per pound; the basis was steady from 225-
175 points under the March futures.
Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 5.00 to 35.00 higher from 390.00-
400.00 for ruminant; Pork was 455.00. Yellow Grease was 50 points lower to 50
points higher from 38.00-39.50 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 25 to 75
points lower from 43.50-44.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 10.00 to 25.00
higher at 700.00. Blood Meal was 65.00t o 75.00 lower from 1050.00-1110.00 for
ruminant and pork was 1075.00-1100.00.
Wheat Middlings were 5.00 to 10.00 higher from 210.00-230.00. The Sacked
Bran was steady at 18.25 cwt.
