The USDA Market News Service reports feed ingredient prices for the week ending
May 13, were mixed. Soybean Meal was 1.20 to 15.20 higher, mostly 3.20 to 7.20
higher. Cottonseed Meal was mixed, 5.00 lower to 5.00 higher. Whole Cottonseed
was mixed, 4.00 lower to 5.00 higher. Canola Meal was steady to 7.20 higher.
Linseed Meal was 10.00 lower in limited trade. Sunflower Meal was steady.
Crude Soybean Oil was mixed, 40 points lower to 30 points higher, mostly 10
points higher. Crude Corn Oil was 25 points lower. Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal
was mixed, 20.00 lower to 30.00 higher, mostly steady to 5.00 higher. Ruminant
Blood Meal was steady to 25.00 higher. Feather Meal was 10.00 to 35.00 lower.
Menhaden Fishmeal was steady for both FAQ and Select Qualities. Corn Hominy was
steady to 5.00 lower. Corn Gluten Feed was steady to 10.00 lower. Corn Gluten
Meal was steady to 30.00 lower. Distillers Dried Grains were mixed, 18.00 lower
to 5.00 higher, mostly 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Wheat Middlings were steady to 20.00
lower, mostly 5.00 to 15.00 lower.
OILSEEDS: On Tuesday, May 13, the July Soybean Meal futures closed 7.20 higher
at 484.70; August closed 5.70 higher at 458.90. The July Soybean Oil futures
closed 10 points lower at 41.21 cents per pound; August closed 4 points higher
at 41.14 cents per pound. Offers of high protein Soybean Meal in Central
Illinois were 6.20 to 7.20 higher from 514.70-518.70; Iowa was 7.20 to 11.20
higher from 489.70-504.70; Kansas City was 1.20 to 4.20 higher from 494.70-
499.70; Minneapolis was 5.20 to 8.10 higher from 489.70-494.70; St. Louis was
steady to 5.00 lower from 499.00-543.00; Memphis was mixed, 2.50 lower to 4.50
higher from 533.20-548.20; Portland was 2.10 to 15.20 higher from 544.70-553.70;
BN Santa Fe delivered Chino Valley was 3.20 to 4.20 higher from 543.70-549.70;
Union Pacific delivered Chino Valley was 3.20 to 5.20 higher from 543.70-545.70.
Cottonseed Meal FOB the Central San Joaquin Valley in California was mixed, 1.00
lower to 5.00 higher from 410.00-425.00; Kansas City was steady from 450.00-
465.00; St. Louis was steady at 445.00; Memphis was 5.00 lower from 410.00-
415.00. Whole Cottonseed FOB the Central San Joaquin Valley in California was
steady to 4.00 lower from 505.00-511.00; delivered to Portland was steady to
5.00 higher from 515.00-525.00; Memphis was steady at 446.00. Offers for nearby
delivered Canola Meal, 34 to 36 percent protein, delivered to Portland was
steady to 7.20 higher from 400.70-410.00. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was 10.00
lower with limited offers in North Dakota-Minnesota at 355.00. Sunflower Meal,
23 pct fiber, 28 pct protein was steady at 265.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota
area. The Soybean Oil in Central Illinois was 10 points higher from 41.21-41.46
cents per pound; Iowa was 10 to 30 points higher from 40.46-42.46 cents per
pound; Minnesota was mixed, 40 points lower to 10 points higher from 41.21-42.46
cents per pound. Crude Corn Oil in Central Illinois was 25 points lower from
40.75-41.75 cents per pound.

mixed, 5.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 520.00-540.00; Portland FOB production
points was steady to 30.00 higher from 490.00-525.00; FOB Central and Northern
California was steady from 480.00-525.00; FOB Los Angeles was steady from
480.00-525.00. Pork Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. was 25.00 to 35.00
lower from 495.00-505.00; Eastern Corn Belt had no quote; Minneapolis was 40.00
to 50.00 lower from 510.00-540.00; St Louis was 10.00 lower from 530.00-540.00.

Texas Panhandle had no quote; Minneapolis was steady from 1025.00-1060.00;
delivered to the San Joaquin Valley was 25.00 higher at 1100.00. Pork Blood Meal
in the Central U.S. was 25.00 lower at 1000.00; Eastern Corn Belt was 1025.00;
Minneapolis was steady to 5.00 lower from 1020.00-1050.00. Feather Meal in
Kansas City was 25.00 to 35.00 lower from 700.00-710.00; Minneapolis was 25.00
