The USDA Market News Service reports feed ingredient prices for the week ending
July 29, were mixed. Soybean Meal was mostly 8.60 to 13.60 higher. Cottonseed
Meal was 5.00 to 15.00 lower, mostly 15.00 lower. Whole Cottonseed was mixed,
10.00 lower to 35.00 higher, mostly steady to 10.00 lower. Canola Meal was
10.20 to 13.40 higher. Linseed Meal was 10.00 lower in limited trade.
Sunflower Meal was 5.00 to 10.00 lower. Crude Soybean Oil was 32 points higher.
Crude Corn Oil was steady to 20 points higher. Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal was
steady to 20.00 lower. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 50.00 lower. Feather
Meal was mixed, 40.00 lower to 5.00 higher. Menhaden Fishmeal was steady. Corn
Hominy was mixed, 5.00 lower to 5.00 higher. Corn Gluten Feed was mixed, 10.00
lower to 10.00 higher. Corn Gluten Meal was mixed, 5.00 lower to 10.00 higher,
mostly steady to 10.00 higher. Distillers Dried Grains were mixed, 10.00 lower
to 15.00 higher, mostly steady to 5.00 lower. Wheat Middlings were mixed, 13.00
lower to 1.00 higher, mostly steady to 10.00 lower.
OILSEEDS: On Tuesday, July 29, the August Soybean Meal futures closed 13.60
higher at 395.40; September closed 10.80 higher at 369.20. The August Soybean
Oil futures closed 32 points higher at 36.25 cents per pound; September closed
35 points higher at 36.34 cents per pound. Offers of high protein Soybean Meal
in Central Illinois were 11.60 to 13.60 higher from 442.40-445.40; Iowa was
13.60 higher from 427.40-443.40; Kansas City was 12.60 higher from 439.40-
440.40; Minneapolis was 8.60 to 11.60 higher from 427.40-435.40; St. Louis was
19.00 to 22.00 higher from 468.00-487.00; Memphis was 14.10 to 19.10 higher from
464.80-484.80; Portland was 0.60 to 8.60 higher from 477.40-487.40; BN Santa Fe
delivered Chino Valley was mixed, 4.40 lower to 8.60 higher from 472.40-487.40;
Union Pacific delivered Chino Valley was 0.60 to 4.60 higher from 477.40-482.40.
Cottonseed Meal FOB the Central San Joaquin Valley in California was 5.00 to
15.00 lower from 310.00-360.00; Kansas City was 15.00 lower from 365.00-370.00;
St. Louis was not available; Memphis was 15.00 lower at 325.00. Whole
Cottonseed FOB the Central San Joaquin Valley in California was 7.00 to 10.00
lower from 440.00-470.00; delivered to Portland was steady to 10.00 higher from
465.00-475.00; Memphis was 35.00 higher at 375.00. Offers for nearby delivered
Canola Meal, 34 to 36 percent protein, delivered to Portland was 10.20 to 13.40
higher from 305.00-308.40. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was 10.00 lower with
limited offers in North Dakota-Minnesota at 275.00. Sunflower Meal, 23 pct
fiber, 28 pct protein was 5.00 to 10.00 lower from 170.00-180.00 in the North
Dakota-Minnesota area. The Soybean Oil in Central Illinois was 32 points higher
from 36.75-37.25 cents per pound; Iowa was 32 points higher from 37.00-38.50
cents per pound; Minnesota was 32 points higher from 38.25-38.50 cents per
pound. Crude Corn Oil in Central Illinois was steady to 20 points higher from
37.50-38.50 cents per pound.

Louis was steady from 500.00-515.00; Portland FOB production points was steady
to 20.00 lower from 450.00-520.00; FOB Central and Northern California was
steady from 470.00-550.00; FOB Los Angeles was steady from 470.00-520.00. Pork
Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. was ranged 580.00-587.50; Eastern Corn
Belt was mixed, 15.00 lower to 30.00 higher from 605.00-650.00; Minneapolis was
steady from 585.00-625.00; St Louis was 5.00 to 10.00 lower from 595.00-605.00.

WHEAT MILLFEEDS: Wheat Middlings in Buffalo, NY was steady from 85.00-100.00;
Kansas City was steady to 1.00 higher from 65.00-75.00; Minneapolis was 10.00
lower from 85.00-100.00; St. Louis steady to 5.00 lower from 68.00-90.00;
Memphis was not available. Wheat Millrun delivered Portland was steady at
175.00. Wheat millrun FOB Los Angeles mill was 4.00 to 13.00 lower from 149.00-
150.00, FOB Northern and Central California mills was not available.
OTHERS: Offers for rice bran was steady to 15.00 lower with the full decline in
Arkansas; rice millfeed was steady to 5.00 lower; rice hulls were steady to
20.00 lower on limited current sales. Alfalfa Meal was mostly steady.
