OKLAHOMA HAY MARKET REPORT
Alfalfa trade light with limited demand. Grass hay trade remains at a near
standstill. Interest and inquiry extremely limited for all offerings and hay
markets only lightly tested in all areas of the state this week. Wheat planting
continues to forge ahead throughout most of the western two thirds of the state.
Dry conditions are still a worry for many areas and drought worsened for
portions of western Oklahoma. 16 western counties are currently listed in
extreme or exceptional drought.
Market News continues to maintain an online hay directory for both in-state
and out-of-state hay producers. The directories are on the ODAFF homepage at
www.oda.state.ok.us. Producers wishing to list hay are encouraged...
