OKLAHOMA HAY MARKET REPORT
Alfalfa trade moderate early this week but turned very light late. Demand good
for dairy quality alfalfa and light for other offerings. Offerings and supplies
of Premium and Supreme alfalfa becoming harder to locate. Other offerings appear
in good supply. Scattered rains this week helped moisture conditions but subsoil
and topsoil levels are still below average. Wheat planting is nearly complete

Central Oklahoma: Premium quality in the field 190.00-200.00. Supreme dairy hay
210.00-220.00. Some Good quality 130.00-165.00 at edge of field. Fair quality
Eastern Oklahoma: Premium quality in the field 185.00-200.00. Good quality
100.00-150.00 per ton. Premium quality small square bales 10.00-12.00 per bale.
Western Oklahoma: Premium quality 180.00-200.00. Supreme quality 200.00-220.00.
Good dry cow hay 130.00-160.00. Good quality bleached 110.00-120.00. Grinding
hay 90.00-100.00. Small square bales Premium quality 9.00-12.00 per bale.
Central Oklahoma: Prairie hay 4 X 5 bales 25.00-35.00 per bale, mostly 25.00-
28.00. Good Bermuda 65.00-70.00 per bale in 5 X 6 bales. Fair quality Bermuda 5
X 6 round bales 35.00-40.00 per bale. Mixed grass small square bales Good
quality 5.00-6.00 per bale in the field. Horse quality 6.00-7.00/bale in the

Western Oklahoma: Fair to Good Bermuda grass 5x6 bales 50.00-60.00 per bale,
