Oregon Weekly Hay Report



Tons:  852    Last Week:  284    Last Year:  1732  



   Compared to May 9:  Prices steady to slightly higher in a limited test 

compared to last week's offerings for the same quality.  Trading was light.  

Volume of trading larger than last week.  Most producers have sold all that 

they plan to sell for this season.  All prices are in dollars per ton and 

FOB unless otherwise stated.

RFV calculated using the Wis/Minn formula.  TDN calculated using the 

western formula. Values based on 100% dry matter, TDN both 90% and 100%.



   Quantitative factors are approximate, and many factors can affect feeding 

value.  Values based on 100 pct dry matter.  End usage may influence hay price

or value more than testing results.
