Prices steady to slightly higher compared to sales for the same quality 

last week.  Trading was heavier with a larger volume of sales this week 

compared to last.   Most producers have sold all of their old crop for 

the last season with more producers starting to harvest the new crop in 

certain areas with some producers entering their second cutting.  The 

weather has been favorable for most producers. All prices are in dollars 

per ton and FOB unless otherwise stated.

Quantitative factors are approximate, and many factors can affect feeding 

value.  Values based on 100 pct dry matter.  End usage may influence hay price

or value more than testing results.
