Tons: 14,800 Last Week: 5230 Last Year: 1730
Compared to last week, Alfalfa for domestic use for current delivery steady to
firm. New crop Alfalfa on a delivered basis weak. Timothy for export steady to
weak. Trade remains slow on old crop Alfalfa, active on old crop Timothy for export
and New Crop Alfalfa contracts for domestic use. Demand remains light to moderate
with best demand for 2-3 tie small bales. Overseas buyers still calling looking for
supplies. Retail/Feed store steady to firm in a light test. Trade very slow with
continued light supplies being held in firm hands. All prices are dollars per ton
and FOB unless otherwise stated.
