Washington-Oregon (Columbia Basin) Weekly Hay Report
Tons: 620 Last Week: 10,135 Last Year: 6645
Compared to last week, Alfalfa for domestic and export use for current
delivery steady. New crop Alfalfa not tested this week. Trade remains slow on
old crop Alfalfa as most interests await new crop supplies. Demand remains
light to moderate with best demand for 2-3 tie small bales. Overseas buyers
still calling looking for supplies especially for Timothy. Retail/Feedstore
steady. Trade very slow with continued light supplies being held in firm
hands. All prices are dollars per ton and FOB unless otherwise stated.
