Washington-Oregon (Columbia Basin) Weekly Hay Report 

Tons:  27,765    Last Week:  30,750    Last Year:  12,567                      
                 
     Compared to last week, Premium Alfalfa this holiday shortened week was 
steady to weak due to the light supply of non-rained on testing hay. 
Fair/Good hay steady. Timothy export steady. Trade turned active this week 
especially for export Timothy. Demand remains good for Premium Horse and 
Dairy export Timothy. Demand is good for non-rained hay with light to 
moderate demand for rained on supplies. Retail/Feedstore new crop Alfalfa 
steady to 25.00 higher. Orchard grass steady. Trade moderate this week with 
good demand. All prices are dollars per ton and FOB unless otherwise stated.
