Washington-Oregon (Columbia Basin) Weekly Hay Report 



Tons:  25,402    Last Week:  32,205    Last Year:  12,775    

       

   Compared to last week, new crop first cutting Alfalfa for domestic and 

export steady. Trade moderate. Demand remains good with domestic and export 

buyers. Rain showers the first part of the week slowed trading. Timothy for 

export was steady to 20.00 higher with most advances for Premium Export Horse 

Timothy. Most producers are now on second cutting Alfalfa. Retail/Feedstore 

Orchard grass steady. Buyer demand good with light to moderate supplies. All 

prices are dollars per ton and FOB unless otherwise stated.
