Compared to last week, all classes of hay remain steady. Demand moderate
to good. The weather continued it’s pattern of above normal temps and dry,
windy conditions again this week. Moisture remains very short across the
area with just a few scattered showers forecast for the weekend.
Alfalfa: Premium: Large Squares 225.00, 385.00 delivered out of state.
Fair to Good: Large Rounds 167.00. Utility: Large Squares and Rounds
130.00-150.00.
Sun-cured Alfalfa pellets: 17 pct 280.00, 15 pct 265.00. Alfalfa
Meal: 17 pct 283.00.
Mixed Alfalfa/Grass: No reported sales.
Grass: Premium: Large Rounds 140.00. Good: Large Rounds 120.00.
Utility: Large Rounds 85.00.
