Weekly Montana Hay Report
Compared to last week: No reported sales of hay this week.
Hay growers are firm on their asking prices and haven’t contracted
much hay yet. Bids are coming in similar to last year. Very good
demand for hay from out of state buyers, little interest yet from
in state buyers. Rain this week in many areas bringing needed moisture
to areas that haven’t received rains this month. All prices are dollars
per ton and FOB unless otherwise noted.

Timothy Grass: No reported sales.
Straw: No reported sales.
