Weekly Utah Hay Market Report
Utah Hay prices continue very strong, but trading was very slow on dairy qualtity and on
other quality's of hay. Lower quality hay demand is light with good supplies. Confirmed
sales 576 tons. Cube prices strong on top quality export cubes. Trade slow and
demand moderate on top quality export cubes. Confirmed sales 0 tons. Guidelines for Alfalfa
Hay: Visual exam and intent of sale; Relative Feed Value (RFV); Acid Detergent Fiber
(ADF); Crude Protein (CP). USDA Grades are based on 100% Dry Matter Content. All
prices are in dollars per ton, FOB at stack, unless otherwise noted. Bales large and
small. Cubes all sales FOB slab, unless noted.
