Weekly Utah Hay Market Report
Utah Hay prices prices mostly strong. Harvest on going the northern being hit with rain slowing the harvest with trading slow to moderate on all dairy quality and on other quality's of hay. Lower quality hay demand is light with good supplies. Confirmed sales 4,600 tons. Guidelines for Alfalfa Hay: Visual exam and intent of sale; Relative Feed Value (RFV); Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF); Crude Protein (CP). USDA Grades are based on 100% Dry Matter content. All prices are in dollars per ton, FOB at stack, Unless Otherwise noted. Bales large and small. Cubes all sales FOB slab, Unless noted.
