   Compared to last week:  All classes of hay sold steady to firm, instances
of 10.00 to 15.00 higher on retail grass hays.  Buyer demand very good for 
all classes with supplies of hay being very light.

a definite higher undertone was noted.  Buyer demand and interest very good

   No confirmed sales this week.  Buyer demand remains very good for all classes
of hay with supplies being very light.  Weather throughout the trade area has
been harsh the past few weeks with lots of precipitation and below zero temperatures.
                                                                                 
Klamath Basin: Tons FOB Barn/Stack:  620      
   Compared to last week:  All classes of hay sold steady.  Buyer demand very good
for all classes on very light hay supplies.  Rainy and icy weather this week

   Compared to last week:  All classes of Alfalfa traded fully with a higher undertone
noted on Fair quality.  Bluegrass straw not recently tested however a steady undertone
was noted.  Triticale and Oats sold steady.  Buyer demand very good for all classes of 
hay on very light supplies.  Warmer than usual temperatures and rain throughout much
