Daily National Grain Market Summary
Grains closed higher on Friday with corn posting its first gains for the
month of February. Outside markets were negative as the Stock market was lower,
crude oil had sharp losses and the dollar closed higher. Soybeans closed higher
as the monthly crush report (NOPA) showed soybean processing has kept up with a
brisk pace. Chicago wheat closed with solid gains despite a higher dollar.
Wheat closed 3-10 cents higher. Corn traded 4-10 cents higher. Soybeans closed
7-10 cents higher.
