Facebook users now have a new destination. The American Angus Association has introduced a Facebook fan page, available at www.facebook.com/americanangusassociation or by searching for “American Angus Association.”

“This will serve as a popular and easy way for members and anyone interested in Angus to stay connected and updated on the latest Association information,” Crystal Young, assistant director of public relations, says. “Anyone can become a fan. Just click ‘like’ to become connected to hundreds of fellow Angus people from across the country.”

In addition to the Association Facebook presence, the National Junior Angus Association (NJAA) and American Angus Auxiliary have also introduced fan pages.

“We introduced our Facebook page last summer and it has since become an important part of how we connect with our Angus youth,” says Robin Ruff, director of junior activities. “It’s a quick, convenient way to stay connected with fellow juniors, members of the junior board, advisors and others.”

The Auxiliary’s Facebook page also continues to grow.

“We’ve developed the page to give Auxiliary members more access to our organization and to share our message with members,” Kathi Creamer, Auxiliary president, says. “We’re all busy these days, and this allows us to get information out quickly and efficiently.”
