Rusk selects champion bulls at National Junior Limousin Show

DENVER - The National Junior Limousin Show and Congress (NJLSC) bull and owned-female show was July 11, 2011 in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Clint Rusk, Stillwater, Okla., evaluated the 98 bull and female entries.

In the Limousin bull show, Rusk selected Shilling's Yannis as the grand champion bull. He is a March 1, 2011 son of Schilling's Unforgiven and was exhibited by Clay Schilling, Edson, Kan. Mark Blake, Earl Park, Ind., exhibited the reserve grand champion bull with MJ Youtube. He is a Feb. 6, 2011 son of EF Main Stay 541M.

The grand champion Lim-Flex bull was awarded to JLX Yukon, exhibited by Justin Montagne, Elk Point, SD. He is a June 6, 2011 son of Sennett Predator 827U. WB Just Wright was selected as the reserve grand champion Lim-Flex bull. He is a Nov. 13, 2011 son of Gambles Hot Rod and was exhibited by Andrew Wright, Miami, Okla.

In the owned Limousin female show, Rusk selected Schilling's Yoki as the grand champion female. She is an April 1, 2011, daughter of DHVO Trey 133R. Bailey Carter, Carter, Okla., exhibited this female. The reserve grand champion owned Limousin female was awarded to WLR Prada, exhibited by Shelby Skinner, Bolivar, Mo. She is a March 2, 2011 daughter of MAGSWL Usual Suspect 538U.

Randee Corns, Eureka, Kan., exhibited the champion pair of females and Oklahoma was awarded the best state group.
