every cattleman I've talked with over the past several years seems to be in denial or at least unwilling to look at research indicating real heterosis is the answer to beef cattle improvment. The use of a Mashona bull on Angus cows resulted in 90% choice or better carcasses. No one seems to notice the potential of such a simple and economical change in management.
