Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Thursday
Thus far for Thursday trading in the Texas Panhandle and Colorado has been at a
standstill. In Kansas, Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt trading has been limited on
very light demand. Not enough sales to fully establish a market trend. Last week in
the Texas Panhandle live sales sold at 119.00. In Kansas live sales sold mostly at
120.00. In Nebraska live sales sold from 120.00-122.00 and dressed mostly at 194.00.
In Colorado live sales sold from 120.00-121.00. In the Western Cornbelt live and
dressed sales sold with a light test at 120.00 and 194.00, respectively.
