Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Friday
Thus far for Friday trading in the Texas Panhandle has been light to moderate with
light to moderate demand. In Kansas trading and demand have been moderate. Compared
to last week, in both regions, live sales sold 1.00 higher at 127.00. In Nebraska
trading has been moderate with good demand. Compared to last week live sales sold
1.00 higher at 127.00 and dressed sales sold 2.00 to 3.00 higher from 202.00 to
203.00. In Colorado and the Western Cornbelt for Friday has seen trading limited on
light demand. Not enough sales to fully establish an adequate market trend. Last week
in Colorado live sales sold at 127.00. In the Western Cornbelt live sales sold at
126.00 and dressed sales sold mostly at 200.00 with a few up to 202.00.
