Afternoon National Slaughter Cattle Review as of 2:00 pm Thursday
Thus far for Thursday trading in the Southern Plains and Nebraska has been slow on
light demand. Compared to Wednesday's last reported market live sales sold steady at
123.00 in these regions. Dressed sales in Nebraska sold 4.00 lower at 196.00 when
compared to last week. In Colorado and Iowa-Minnesota on Thursday saw trading limited
on light demand. In Colorado live sales sold steady at 123.00 when compared to
Wednesday. In Iowa-Minnesota a few live and dressed sales sold from 119.00-123.00 and
196.00, respectively. The last fully established market was last week with live sales
from 124.00-125.00 and dressed at 200.00.
