Insect-borne diseases threaten cattle herds

A veterinary scientist with the USDA's Center for Grain and Animal Health Research in Manhattan, Scott McVey, talks about several insect-borne livestock disease issues that he and his staff are currently researching, including a tandem of diseases carried by midges that could threaten cattle herds:  blue tongue and EHD.
