Pink eye is a multifactorial disease. Such things as fly control and vaccination are spoke of frequently as we talk about control. But the producer (and veterinarian) should look also at stocking rates of cattle (especially at watering sites and feeders (mineral and creep) and trace nutrient nutrition.
